Installation

Install in four steps

The official ZIP works with Chrome, Edge, and most desktop browsers built on Chromium.

    Extract it to a permanent folderExtract the entire ZIP and keep that folder in place after installation.

    Open the extension managerEnter chrome://extensions in Chrome or edge://extensions in Edge.

    Load the unpacked extensionTurn on Developer mode, choose “Load unpacked,” and select the extracted folder.

It works only when you ask it to

Permissions are limited to saving, tab parking, new tabs, and requested translation. The extension does not scan your entire browsing history in the background.

  • Current-window tabs are read only after you click “Save current window.”
  • Page text is sent to the translation service only after you request translation.
  • The website manages sessions with an HttpOnly cookie; the extension stores no password.
FAQ

Questions before installing

Why is Developer mode required?

This release is distributed as an official ZIP and uses the browser’s “Load unpacked” feature. Developer mode does not let the extension bypass browser permissions.

What if the extension does not open or its icon is missing?

Select the extracted folder that directly contains manifest.json, reload it from the extension manager, and pin it to the toolbar if needed.

How do I upgrade later?

Download the newer package here, replace or reselect the extracted folder, then click Reload in the extension manager.
